Hattie is everything typical of a 1 year old husky. She’s energetic, smart, affectionate, goofy, good with other dogs (we always do and encourage appropriate introductions with new dogs), but absolutely no Cats for this girl.
Hattie came to us as a stray. She was quite malnourished and was missing fur from suspected fleas. Her fur is starting to grow in and is softening because of the good nutrition she’s been receiving.
She was heartworm and Lyme negative and has received her vaccinations and will be spayed in about a month (01/2024).
Hattie currently shares a foster home with three other dogs and gets to meet new dogs most weekends as several people will bring their dogs to visit at her foster home.
Her foster parents are quite active, so Hattie hikes daily and enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home.
Hattie is house trained and crate trained. When she spent time at the kennel by herself, she was destructive in the kennel to blankets.
Her ideal home will be one with other dogs, one with husky experience, and one that will challenge her not just physically, but mentally also.
